Extension of limit theorems by spectral methods
When: Tue, April 11, 2017 - 3:30pm

Speaker: Kasun Fernando (University of Maryland) - http://math.umd.edu/~abkf
Abstract: Spectral methods have been used extensively to obtain limit theorems for dynamical systems. This will be a brief overview of the use of the complex Ruelle operator in this regard. A few recent results (joint work with D. Dolgopyat and C. Liverani) will also be discussed.
