Our department runs two graduate programs:

and is a major participant in

Department of Mathematics (AMSC/MATH/STAT) Statement of Expectations for Graduate Student Mentoring can be found here.

We offer a M.A. in Statistics, M.S. in AMSC, and Ph.D. for all three programs with no prior requirement of a Master’s. At this time, we do not offer a M.A. in Mathematics as a terminal degree, but it can be awarded on the way to completing the Ph.D.

For those interested in Mathematics Education (at the K-12 level), please see the Center for Mathematics Education in the College of Education.

These web pages are mostly about the Mathematics Program, but also include many items common to all three of the MATH, AMSC, and STAT programs.
