The AMS Centennial Research Fellowship Program makes awards annually to an outstanding mathematicians to help further their careers in research. The primary selection criterion for the Centennial Fellowship is the excellence of the candidate's research.
The stipend for fellowships awarded for 2012-2013 was US $80,000, with an additional expense allowance of about US $8,000.
