Shuo Yang has been awarded the Ivo and Renata Babuška Endowed Student Award for Graduate Research in Mathematics. The Babuška Award is given to an outstanding Ph.D. student dissertation in the field of computational mathematics in the Department of Mathematics. The award was established by our former colleague, Ivo Babuška, who made foundational scientific contributions in the field of computational mathematics, specifically, numerical methods for solving partial differential equations.

Join us in congratulating Shuo in his accomplishments!
