  • Eugenia Brin, Longtime Supporter of Science and Performing Arts at UMD, Dies

The Geometry Festival, a regular annual event rotating among East-Coast universities, will be held at the University of Maryland April 12-14, 2013. More details, including the detailed schedule, can be found at the event website.  The last geometry festival at Maryland was held April 27-29, 2007.  This year's festival will include a 90th birthday celebration for Eugenio Calabi of the University of Pennsylvania (Emeritus), one of the world's premier geometers and one of the organizers of the first Geometry Festival.
